When you use our website, we gather the following personal information
Purpose: Member service, optimising of the website and gathering of knowledge/statistics about the members’ and others’ use of our services.
The types of information we process: Via DA’s website, we gather information about: The user, including member organisation, IP address, type of browser, search terms, network location, newsletter and event registrations (name, email addresses, telephone number and physical addresses).
The legal basis for our processing of personal information follows from the general data protection regulation (GDPR), paragraph 6, item 1, schedule a, b, c and f.
Storage of personal information: Information on members that is gathered via the website, is stored either until the desired services, e.g. newsletter subscriptions, are cancelled separately or until the member chooses to terminate/discontinue membership to DA. Information on other users that is gathered via the website, is stored as long as it is relevant or until the desired services, e.g. newsletter subscriptions are cancelled separately.

The registered person’s rights
The General Data Protection Regulation contains a number of rights in relation to our processing of information.

The right to see your information (right to be informed): You have the right to gain insight into the information we process about you, as well as some additional information.
Right of retraction (correction): You have the right to have incorrect information about yourself corrected.
Right of deletion: In special cases you have the right to have information about you deleted before the date our ordinary general deletion takes place.
Right of limitation of processing: In some cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal information limited. If you have the right to limited processing, in future we may only process the information - except for storage - with your consent or with a view to legal requirements being determined, being made applicable or justified or to protect a person or important societal interests.
Right of objection: In some cases you have the right to submit objection against our otherwise legal processing of your personal information. You can also submit objection against the processing of your information for direct marketing.
The right to transmit information (data portability): In some cases you have the right to receive your personal information in a structured, ordinarily used and machine-readable format and to have this personal information transferred from one data controller to another without obstruction.
