Article
The Nordic employers' organisations have issued a joint call for the need to strengthen the competitiveness of European businesses through less bureaucracy, strengthened social dialogue and greater respect for national labour market models.
Close Nordic co-operation is key to achieving our ambitions for green growth, job creation, security and preparedness.
But neither Denmark nor the other Nordic countries will succeed without a strong and well-functioning EU working towards the same political goals. That is why the Nordic employers' organisations, after a meeting in Reykjavik, Iceland, are now issuing a joint call, the aim of which is to secure that the Nordic countries have the right conditions to support green competitiveness and well-functioning labour markets.
This includes strengthening the competitiveness of European businesses by reducing administrative burdens and reporting requirements for companies, strengthening social dialogue and respecting national labour market models in legislation.
